There are many choices in the Shiloh Shepherd world, including several registries
and many breeders. We highly recommend to anyone seriously looking for a shiloh
shepherd to take their time and do some research. Purchasing or adopting any
dog is a life altering experience and should be treated as such, with much thought
and consideration. You are adding a family member to your household, take a
little time to find a good fit.
We choose to be affiliated with The Shiloh Shepherd Registry [TSSR, Inc.], a not-for-profit
Shiloh Shepherd specific registry. Working together toward their vision of limiting health
and temperament issues through education and the use of temperament and health screenings,
the TSSR hopes to continue to make positive strides toward it's breeding goals.
In 2006, Heather became more intimately involved with the TSSR organization, as she was
asked to serve on their Board of Directors and accepted the honor. We hope we will be able to
contribute to their continuing good work.

We also support and participate in the International Shiloh Shepherd
Dog Club [ISSDC, Inc.]. We volunteer our services to some committees with the club as time
allows. We make it a point to attend our National Specialty as it is always the
event to see many shilohs and meet many people -- it allows people from all registries
to meet, socialize and talk all things shiloh! The National Specialty is usually
held in the Spring over Memorial Day weekend.

We are members of the local North East chapter of the ISSDC, the ISSDC-NE. Heather is currently working very closely with
this chapter.
