Gareth found his way to Mac Shilohs through Ridgwood Shilohs [B&T] although born at Star Shilohs in Utah to NS rbCH B&T's Ment To Be Of Ridgewood, ROM, CGC, TDI, TT [Kota], a handsome grey sable plush male; and Starbays Lady Natasha O Sierra [Natasha], a lovely grey sable smooth coated female. We were looking for a companion for our first Shiloh Hamish who had just turned one year old.

Gareth's pedigree includes many historic Shilohs such as CJ's Lobo Amado de Windsong, Shiloh's Captain-Caliber Baker, Bionic Black Smoke of Zion, Shiloh's Secret Sampson-Woo, and Windsong's Katrinka D'Shiloh to name but a few.

Gareth's Grandma Trish, Ridgewood Shilohs [B&T] proudly handled him to his International Rarities/NAKC Championship at seven months old, earning his final points needed during a soggy weekend at the Cape Cod Classic in Sandwich Massachusetts. As far as we know Gareth is the first smooth coated shiloh shepherd to earn this title and at seven months old. We do not get to show often, but try to at least make our parent club and/or registry specialties.

Gareth has begun his health testing as per his registry and our personal standards. Gareth received his OFA Heart Certification [Cardiologist] at 19 months as well as passed his CERF eye exam. His hips, elbows, tli and thyroid testing will take place shortly.

More than that though Gareth is a joyful addition to our family. He remains a silly boy, as playful as a puppy with a devotion to his "dad" James that is special. Both of Gareth's parents are certified working therapy dogs and we hope one day Gareth will continue that honored tradition.
