About Sandwich Beach
In the Fall of 2005, Rarities Dog Shows held the Cape Cod Classic in Sandwich, MA. Mac Shilohs took to opportunity to visit an area we'd not spent time in before. Although rainy, Gareth earned his Rarities International Championship at seven months old after only his second weekend showing for points.
We stayed an extra day to do some sightseeing and took the dogs over the Sandwich Boardwalk to Sandwich Beach.
Incorporated in 1639, Sandwich is the oldest town on Cape Cod and one of the oldest towns in the United States, settled by European immigrants nearly 150 years before the American Revolution.
